Surprise! One more post before 2023 closes.
This Sunday, I’m sharing a favorite photo of my older cat Wilbur. When he was six months old, I rescued him from a farm in Wisconsin. He’s been with me for almost ten years now.
We all stretch ourselves from time to time. Sometimes, following a big stretch, we collapse—a sign from the body that we need to slow down, to rest, to stop. Wilbur’s own posture in this photo captures that sign perfectly.
May you start the New Year slowly and give yourself the space to step into it with ease. And at least once on New Year’s Day, remember to pause.
Happy New Year Wilbur and Taishin. Nice to see you on Substack.
